About
In my artwork I inspired from different contexts related to body expression, memory and space, exploring new methods, materials, mediums and performances.
In the projects I combine Fine Arts and Interactive Digital Arts, while recently my research concerns the Artistic Practice and intervention in Public Spaces, the body transformation and the embodied memory, discovering new forms of expressions in every day life.
Some of the concepts I am researching is the notion of Public Space, the Common memory and Public representation, the process of Cultural memory & Identity in Public spaces in conjunction with the use of new materials and expressive ways, often combining interactive arts and technologies. My aim is the exploration of the new meta- social imagination in a social and political context, exploring the interaction of body related in space as a diverse & common participatory area.
I strive to create experiences that challenge and engage the audience, encouraging them to reflect on their own relationship with public spaces and the collective memory embedded within them. I aim to blur the boundaries between the spectator and the artwork, fostering a sense of communal participation and shared experience. One of the pivotal aspects of my work is the investigation of how bodies inhabit and transform spaces, both physically and metaphorically. This exploration extends to the ways in which memories are stored, recalled, and reinterpreted through bodily interactions with our surroundings.
The materiality of my work serves as a conduit for these complex dialogues between the individual and the collective, the past and the present.Through my artistic practice, I seek to uncover the latent narratives that reside within public spaces, bringing to light the often overlooked or forgotten histories that shape our social and cultural landscapes. By doing so, I hope to not only enrich the public's understanding of these spaces but also to inspire new forms of engagement and expression that transcend conventional boundaries .
Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to a more inclusive and dynamic discourse on the role of art in society, one that embraces diversity and fosters a deeper connection between people and the spaces they inhabit. By pushing the limits of what is possible through art and technology, I aspire to create works that resonate on a profound level, prompting meaningful conversations and inspiring positive change in the world.
