I was born in Athens of Greece. I studied in the school of Fine Arts, in the department of Sculpture (BA), Computer Graphics, Multimedia Arts (IM), and also Performing Arts in Public Space (MA).
I am a Visual artist and performer, working with interactive technologies and with art in public space.
Additionally, I studied modern dance and Kung fu (traditional Asian martial arts), additionally, I create group workshops, related to the development
of movement through Arct–choreography and Conscious walking methods.
Further, I am also working as a Visual artist,
Art director and teacher of Fine and Multimedia Arts.
Throught my recent projects, I approach public space (in physical and internet terms) and I suggest the creation of a monument, proceeding with a method for the development of cultural - collective memory, related
to the creation of community.
"A statue to be build is something "easy", to transform this object
into a monument and create a kind of crystallized cultural memory, demands time. Also, a sequential education and repetitive experience"
I am working sequentially, contrary to institutionalized rules and ethics of public representations and intervening to existing monuments and areas that serve the production of cultural memory. The Internet is providing me with the characteristics I need to investigate the possibility of the syntax of a community (in terms of internet), under common influenced cultural memory and identity
